Thai Survey Shows Public Wants End to Cambodia Conflict
BANGKOK, May 21, 2026 — A new Thai public opinion survey has found growing support among Thai citizens for a peaceful resolution to tensions with Cambodia, with many respondents favouring diplomacy and de-escalation over prolonged confrontation.
The survey, conducted by Thailand-based policy research group 101 Public Policy Think Tank (101 PUB), examined public attitudes toward the ongoing Thailand-Cambodia dispute and policy responses surrounding border tensions between the two neighbours.
