The meeting brought together ministers and senior officials from WIPO Member States to discuss strengthening the international intellectual property system, promoting innovation ecosystems, and expanding international cooperation to advance sustainable, inclusive, and resilient economic growth. On this occasion, Her Excellency Minister extended her congratulations to His Excellency Carlos D. Sorreta on his election as Chair of the Sixty-Eighth Series of Meetings of the WIPO Assemblies and to His Excellency Daren Tang on his reappointment for a second term as Director General of WIPO.
