Thousands of visitors have flocked to the old Phnom Penh International Airport, which has been temporarily opened to the public ahead of the upcoming Khmer New Year. Crowds were seen taking selfies on the tarmac, while others sat on the ground or even brought chairs to relax.
The airport has long served as Cambodia’s main international gateway. Originally built in the 1960s and later expanded, it has played a key role in connecting the capital to regional and global destinations.
