**Education ministry targets developed-country standards by 2040**
The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport has unveiled a long-term strategy to bring Cambodia’s education system closer to developed-country standards by 2040, with a focus on whole-school reform, expanding secondary education access and introducing new education pathways from Grade 7 to help reduce dropout rates.
