(Battambang): On the morning of Saturday, 24 October 2026, in front of the Borey Thmey Supermarket premises in Battambang City, Battambang Province, Her Excellency TOR Pila, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce, and Mr. TEP Horn, Deputy Governor of Battambang Province, presided over the launch ceremony of the “#MadeInCambodia Campaign.” The event was attended by representatives from the Provincial Department of Commerce, relevant provincial departments and institutions, local artisans and producers, as well as numerous representatives from the private sector. On that occasion, Her Excellency Secretary of State expressed high appreciation and commendation for the excellent cooperation and partnership between the public and private sectors—particularly micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs), local artisans and producers, and various supermarkets, malls, marts, and minimarts—which are working closely together as a unified force to promote national products. Her Excellency Secretary of State further noted that the Ministry of Commerce initiated the “#MadeInCambodia Campaign” with the objective of showcasing and widely disseminating the diversity of locally produced goods to citizens, customers, and consumers, while empowering consumers through increased awareness of national products regarding price, quality, and compliance.
