2026年9月28日下午，柬埔寨外交与国际合作部代部长Eat Sophea在金边会见了新任新西兰驻柬埔寨大使Raelene Liew-Fahani。该大使常驻地为曼谷。
Eat Sophea对Raelene Liew-Fahani履新表示欢迎，并承诺柬方将为其在柬期间的各项外交工作提供全面支持与配合。

On the afternoon of 28 September 2026, **Her Excellency EAT Sophea**, Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, received a courtesy call from **Her Excellency Raylene LIUFALANI**, Ambassador of New Zealand to Cambodia with residence in Bangkok, the Ministry.
During the meeting, **Her Excellency the Acting Minister** warmly welcomed and extended her congratulations to **Her Excellency Raylene LIUFALANI** on her appointment as the Ambassador of New Zealand to Cambodia, and assured her of full support and cooperation during the Ambassador’s diplomatic mission in Cambodia.
Both sides noted with satisfaction the long-standing relations and fruitful cooperation in key areas, including education, agriculture, environment, water resources management, the promotion of the rights of women and youth, and mine clearance which have contributed significantly to Cambodia’s socio-economic development. Both sides also highly valued the exchange of high-level visits, the organization of the Foreign Ministries’ Consultations, and people-to-people connectivity, which have further boosted bilateral relations.
**Her Excellency the Acting Minister** also briefed **Her Excellency the Ambassador** on the latest developments concerning the Cambodia-Thailand border situation and reiterated Cambodia’s commitment to resolving the border dispute through peaceful means, in accordance with international law and existing agreements.
Before concluding the meeting, the Ambassador affirmed her commitment to further strengthening and deepening bilateral relations between the two countries.
