South Korean Wanted for Telecom Fraud Arrested in Bangkok
BANGKOK, June 19, 2026 – Thai immigration authorities have arrested a South Korean man wanted in his home country over an alleged telecommunications financial fraud case involving losses of about US$7 million, officials said.
The 36-year-old suspect, identified only as Mr. Kim, was detained at a condominium in Bangkok's Ramkhamhaeng area after Thai authorities revoked his permission to remain in the country.
