កម្ពុជាបានផ្ញើលិខិតជូនដំណឹងជាផ្លូវការទៅកាន់ភាគីថៃ និងអគ្គលេខាធិការអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ ដើម្បីចាប់ផ្តើមដំណើរការនៃយន្តការផ្សះផ្សាដោយបង្ខំ ក្រោមអនុសញ្ញាអង្គការសហប្រជា-ជាតិស្តីពីនីតិសមុទ្រ (UNCLOS)។ យើងបានជ្រើសយកយន្តការនេះ ក្នុងគោលដៅការពារអធិបតេយ្យភាពជាតិ និងសិទ្ធិលើដែនសមុទ្ររបស់កម្ពុជា ដោយអនុលោមតាមច្បាប់អន្តរជាតិ។
We have delivered a formal notice to Thailand and to the Secretary-General of the United Nations to begin compulsory conciliation proceedings under the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS). We have taken this step to protect Cambodia’s sovereignty and maritime rights in accordance with international law.
