**Blessing Dance Welcomes Khmer New Year in America TACOMA, Washington - Khmer Blessing Dance is often considered to be an important session of many formal events. The dancers, donned in Khmer traditional attires, portray graceful movements and warm smiles. At Washington state's Tacoma city, Khmer dance instructor Rady Mey Oum has been teaching Khmer traditional dances since the 1980s. Known as Cambodian Classical & Folk Dance of The Northwest, it is the oldest Khmer dance group in the Pacific Northwest.
